Haiti Action is a charity unlike any other measures to benefit victims of Haiti.

Moved by a collective of artists like Federated and the House of Artists, the project was born January 25.2010, on an idea by Elodie Barthelemy (plastic artist), Anne-Elodie Telemaque (lawyer) and Remy Aron (painter and president of La Maison des Artistes). Artists

Haiti Action is collecting and auctioning works by artists from around the world for the benefit of Haitian artists. They have suffered heavy losses in the disaster in January (instead of life, production, work tools) give them the means to rework and create lasting structures.

Haiti Action’s goal is to return to Artists Haitian artists how to work.

This solidarity action of other artists for artists is supported by the actors in the policy and cultural, Bernard Kouchner, Frederic Mitterrand, Abdou Diouf, the French National Commission for unesco, the Committee of Professional Galleries’art and artists of many Professional Associations.

The Ministry of Culture and Communication provides the heart of Paris for an exhibition of three weeks.

Some 700 works will be exhibited to the public from 1 to September 22 within the prestigious site of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, famous for its architectural metal mesh to the Louvre (182 rue Saint Honoré Paris 1) before to be auctioned under the hammer Remi Ader September 23.2010 at the Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, 11 rue Berryer 75008 Paris.

This sale will illustrate the vast panorama of visual arts in the world. It will bring together, in the same spirit of solidarity, celebrities and lesser known artists who have given full and in great unselfishness, works on paper, paintings, photographs, ranging from classical to avant-garde.

On 23 September, from 13h to 22h and the magnificent Hôtel Salomon de Rothschild, just reopened after four years of work, will be joining the most chic of French cultural and artistic capital. Three times (14h: Works on Paper and multiple – 16h: Tables – 20h: Paintings, digital art and photography) will be punctuated with cocktails and wine tasting in an atmosphere mingling artists, professionals, collectors, art enthusiasts and general public with a single Objective: to help artists to rework Haiti as quickly and regain their place in the artist community…
